Where it all began
Leadership Training.... in a Box!
Leaderbox was founded by Monty Halls, a former Royal Marines Officer who had moved into leadership and team development after leaving the Corps 20 years ago.
His final role in the Marines was running a Reserve Detachment in Plymouth for three years, and during this period he realised the demands of delivering high quality training, in limited time periods, to universal high standards based on a common curriculum. This challenge - also prevalent in the education and business sectors - led him to create Leaderbox.

The system took several years to evolve, working closely with leadership experts, military advisors, educators, elite sports teams, and the wider business sector. The end result is a comprehensive system that delivers training based on a series of core qualities universal to all leadership models.
The key quality of Leaderbox, established from the outset, was to make the system dynamic, inclusive, fun, and progressive. The exercises, challenges, and scenarios are all designed to generate active participation, and act as practical examples of theoretical models.
The Leaderbox system was born out of the same demands and challenges facing every facilitator - how to deliver dynamic, relevant, fun, practical training in the crucial area of leadership training and development.
The system has evolved...
Initially developed as a system for schools, businesses requested a Pro version to support their Leadership and Personal Development programmes.
